Jon Sloan and Jennine VanSchepen are Homestead Elite. They’re a dynamic duo of driving acoustic guitar, playful keys, soulful lead vocals and ringing harmonies. Storytelling and nostalgia play a front-seat role in the project - the duo's music is like a hot toddy: “folk steeped in jazz”. The focus is to bring their audiences back home to themselves by pulling endearingly at their heartstrings and reimagining music that they may have forgotten they loved. You can anticipate jazz from the 50’s, folk from the 60’s, rock from the 70’s woven together with some newer selections and the couple's original music. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
